It refers to a bay on Guadalcanal in the Solomon Islands, therefore, it was censored when the song was sent home to families. There was a war zone mentioned and servicemen were not allowed to tell where they were. The song was classified until after the war. With the Kameha Strings -- a group of amateur-musicians who plays music for more than 50 years already -- Inge is singing this song and even though here in Holland it's not well-known it still is a joy to do.
