King Koseto Brasswood Band Hachiro Ukai, Conductor Regular Annual Concert 2008 Seto City Cultural Center, Culture Hall October 5, 2008 Established in 1954 as the Koseto Brasswood Band under the late Mr. Nishimura as an educational event sponsored by the Koseto Community Center, KBB is one of the oldest community bands in the Chubu(Central Japan) area. In 2004 the Band celebrated it's 50th anniversary, and as if to honor the event, KBB was awarded the Emperor's Green Award for years of dedicated service to the community. The first awarded to an organization, and of course the first awarded to a Wind Ensemble. Bandmaster Hachiro Ukai accepted the award on behalf of Band from Emperor Akihito in the spring of 2005....
